After the inception of ACA, Affordable Care Act, there is NO reason for ANYONE to be left without Healthcare Coverage! This is a big claim to make. However, in our experience of resolving healthcare coverage issues for our community, we have found this claim to be TRUE. ACA was signed into law in March 2010, and there are many aspects of ACA that were implemented even before it became public through the ACA enrollment piece which was implemented in October 2013.
Our team has been helping community members with ACA enrollment since 2013 and our doors are open to the public all year round. So, if you have any question any time during the year, you can walk in and get your answers right at our office. Due to a very busy enrollment season, we encourage everyone to secure an enrollment appointment prior to the beginning of the enrollment season and keep your appointment. If you need to discuss your case in detail, please come and see us before the enrollment begins.
Medicaid Eligibility & Application
ACA or Obamacare has already included Medicaid within its scope, so no one has to apply separately to Medicaid anymore. If the income is low the application will directly go to Medicaid from the Marketplace. However, there are further eligibility criteria that one has to meet in order to qualify for Medicaid. Our staff can guide you to apply, appeal or provide support with re-determination issues of Medicaid.
- Medicaid Application
- Medicaid Re-determination
- Medicaid Appeals
- Medicaid Denial resolutions
With the rising cost of healthcare, MEDICARE is becoming increasingly complicated. Many of our elderly and their family members require constant updates on the upcoming changes to keep their out of pocket costs down. There are many more options available today for our elderly to take advantage of the new health markets. Every option is beneficial when it is applied to the appropriate situation.
Our staff, volunteers and our interns are providing FREE consultation to the elderly and their family members so they make the best use of their health care coverage. Since Medicare is a Federal program our advice is good within many States. We are currently providing counseling in the following areas:
- Traditional Medicare
- Medicare Advantage Counseling
- Medicare & Medicaid - Dual Eligible Managed Care options
- Traditional Medicare & Medicaid
- How to Reduce Prescription Drug Costs
